The Beavers is a social, honorary organization that is formed and managed by the construction companies and individuals who are or have been engaged in heavy engineering construction.

The purpose of the Beavers is to promote good will, friendliness and consideration within the industry, and to give recognition to those men and women who have demonstrated particular skill, responsibility and integrity, and to encourage and support the entry of promising young individuals into heavy engineering construction.

Each year, the Beavers recognizes five individuals as Golden Beavers for their outstanding contributions to the heavy engineering industry.  Awards are made in the following categories: Management, Supervision, Engineering, Service and Supply, and Special Award.

In January, 2007, Robert G. Brosamer, President and CEO of R&L Brosamer, Inc., was awarded the 2007 Golden Beaver Award for the category of Management.  All of his employees are very proud of his achievements (and are helping to keep his Golden Beaver statue clean and shiny).  Congratulations Bob!
